Chef Andy Shrader at Ike’s Food & Cocktails (50 S. 6th St.) in downtown Minneapolis suggested one of Ike’s signature cocktails for your enjoyment this weekend.
Ike’s Ice
Chef Andy at Ike’s thought this might be the perfect thing to drink when the air-conditioner wasn’t working.
1 ounce Midori
2 and half ounces fresh-squeezed O.J., chilled
1 ounce Meyer’s dark rum
Pour the Midori and then the chilled orange juice into a low-ball or chilled martini glass, then carefully pour the Meyer’s in so the dark rum forms a layer on top.
Serves one.
