The chili at Roznovsky's (3401 West T. C. Jester Blvd., 713-957-1100) is house-made. It is thick and spicy, with mostly ground beef and no beans. I saw some green chiles in there between the fine-diced onions and shredded cheddar cheese.
I also got a double-double, two meat patties and two slices of cheese. The burger was melted together, making it one big mass of beefy deliciousness. The rings were dry and crunchy, so I dipped them into the chili and chased them down with an ice-cold Lone Star. As mush as I wanted to make the double-double a chili-cheese double-double, I refrained.
I like this place. The display of taxidermy and trucker caps is an amazing backdrop for the juicy burgers and beer, and the video games in the back and Lone Star happy hours seal the deal. What more do you want, chili cheese fries? They have those too. This place rocks.
