Sometimes wonderful things are born out of our comments section and we remember for a moment just how awesome humanity can be when it comes together for a good cause.

The Lemonade Day Crawl is a perfect example of that awesomeness, suggested by commenter Chris Oakley in support of National Lemonade Day. It's now a full-blown Facebook event and is taking place this Sunday, May 1, from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. You have no reason not to go; it's a bunch of fun people getting together and buying lemonade from cute little kids. You'll be meeting new folks and helping out Houston's children all in one fell swoop. Go.

Speaking of collaboration, the upcoming collaborative dinner between Justin Yu, Justin Vann and PJ Stoops is going to sell out very quickly, so get your tickets now. On May 6 and 7, the men will be serving two dinners of Stoops's fresh Gulf fish prepared by Chef Yu with beer and wine pairings from Vann. In addition, cocktails from Anvil's Chris Frankel and coffee from our own former EOW blogger Greenway Barista will be served at the $95 a person dinner. A bit pricey? You bet. Worth every penny and more? Absolutely.

The lineup for the upcoming Haute Wheels food truck festival on May 14 and 15 is growing: Oh My Gogi, Bullbutter Bros. Barbecue and H-Town StrEATs have all signed on to bring their food to the festivities. Tickets are $16, but that money goes to drink sample tickets as well as live music from stellar local bands like Two Star Symphony, Roky Moon and BOLT, Sideshow Tramps and more.

In this morning's Openings & Closings, we discussed how IKEA's new food marketplace will be larger than your entire house. Want to see it for yourself? The furniture store is throwing a big grand opening party on Memorial Day weekend, from 4 to 6 p.m. on May 27. In addition to free Swedish treats for everyone who comes out to see the shelves of köttbullar and äppelkaka, the first 50 people will receive reusable grocery bags filled with extra goodies.

Last but not least, pile the kids in the car this weekend and drive over to the Urban Harvest farmers market at Highland Village. This week's Chef Corner will feature children's cook Kellie Karavais, who'll be showing off her company's products and cooking classes. Stick a Fork in It: Cultivating Budding Chefs teaches kids to cook while learning about nutrition at the same time. The market runs from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Sunday, May 1.
