The Secret Lives of Peeps

Poor Peeps. Maligned by many, they're only remembered once a year: at Easter, and not always fondly. But unbeknownst to their detractors, Peeps lead quite a busy life during the rest of the year, as they battle against the tide of naysayers who think that Peeps are sugar-covered marshmallow atrocities and those Peeps aficionados who think that Peeps are only made for eating.

Peeps -- both the rabbit and duck ethnicities -- have varied lives, interests and activities. They want nothing more than to be seen as more than just an Easter candy, and to be recognized as individual Peeps capable of hopes, dreams, wants and desires just like the rest of us.

This is our attempt to give those Peeps the respect and dignity they deserve.

Deep in the final frontier of space, Peeps have their own trouble with Tribbles:

Brave Peeps risk their lives every day in FBI sting operations like the one witnessed below:

The legend lives on from the Chippewa on down of the big lake they called "Gitche Gumee." The lake, it is said, never gives up her dead Peeps when the skies of November turn gloomy:

Fair-minded Peeps serve as Justices on the Supeep Court, handing down decisions that affect the very fabric of the nation:

White collar Peeps work in offices, like this paper supply company in Scranton:

Once upon a time in the West, gunslinging Peeps fought their way across the deserts of Arizona and gambled in the silver mining towns in the mountains:

Although their music was largely ignored by the mainstream media, Peeps were responsible for the emergence of true rock 'n' roll music in the 1960s, as heard on the classic Sgt. Peeper's Lonely Hearts Cluck Band:

Some Peeps (mostly the ones named Crystal) are involved in unsavory industries and pastimes:

In fact, some Peeps have begun working in the fetish industry, modeling alongside giants for underground, pruriant publications:

Peeps: They're just like us! (But made of marshmallow. Delicious, delicious marshmallow...)

If you are one of the talented folks (or know one of those folks) who created any of the Peep dioramas seen above, please let us know in the comments section so we can properly credit your genius. Peep dioramas found on the Internet strangely come without any real documentation.
