I was told by my travel agent that I wouldn't be able to leave Washington D.C. 'til the end of the week because of the lack of return flights, but luckily some seats opened up for me. A high fever had already taken over my body, and I was ready to get home to get some rest.
Gospel singer Yolanda Adams was sitting in the first-class seat behind mine, reading something with Obama's face on it. The Hispanic guy in the seat next to me was reading something with Obama on it also.
The next thing I knew I fell asleep, and when I woke up I was back in Texas, the same place where the former president George W. Bush said he was gonna go back to. I landed back in the same airport that had his Bush family name.
How ironic.
