Top 10 Dylanesque Bob Dylan Quotes

Rocks Off would like to join a lot of other people, we're sure, in wishing Robert Zimmerman a happy 69th birthday today. Since breaking out of Greenwich Village via Northern Minnesota in the early '60s, the restless spirit much better known as Bob Dylan has been enriching the English language through his lyrics as well as his spoken and written remarks.

On record and elsewhere, Dylan's utterings have given rise to one of the most overused, least understood music-crit adjectives. "Dylanesque" is now commonly employed to describe other singer-songwriters who come across as both cryptic and profound, so in honor of his birthday, Rocks Off combed a few quotation Web sites to give you a small sampling of Bob's best bon mots. Enjoy!
