Spectacularly lit holiday displays surround the Ice Rink at Woodlands Town Center, making for a twinkling setting as you skate. Nearby, a 30-foot Christmas tree overlooks Waterway Square, where fountains, waterfalls, jets and cascades are synchronized in a light and water show set to holiday tunes such as "Feliz Navidad" by Jose Feliciano and "Winter Wonderland" by Tony Bennett. But the real draw is the ice and the fun of gliding around the rink, maybe throwing in a spin or two. Of course, if you're doing more falling than gliding, you can sign up for a few lessons from the pros. 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Thursday, 10 a.m. to 11 p.m. Saturday, and 2 to 8 p.m. Sunday. Daily through January 18. 9819 Six Pines Drive, The Woodlands. For a full schedule, call 281-419-5630 or visit www.thewoodlandsicerink.com. $5 to $10.50.
