Houston Ballet's Artistic Director Stanton Welch sees his shows like meals, which means "Without Boundaries" features an appetizer, entrée and dessert. The program boasts three new ballets for the company, offering a mix of the contemporary and the classic. Whetting the appetite is Falling Angels, a modern piece choreographed by European master Jiøi Kyláin in which the dancers perform with three onstage drummers. The main course is a world premiere of Welch's own Elements, in which the dancers will be en pointe. To sweeten the end of the evening, the company will present its first-ever Twyla Tharp piece. In the Upper Room, with music by Philip Glass, features both classical dancers and "stompers" in tennis shoes. Sounds like a feast indeed. 7:30 p.m. September 24, 26 and 27, October 2 to 4. Wortham Theater, 501 Texas. For information, call 713-227-2787 or visit www.houstonballet.org. $17 to $145.
