Futuristic soldiers, frogs crossing the road and diminutive Italian men with a fondness for smiling mushrooms are three things not regularly associated with the rarefied world of classical music. But today the local highbrows go a little haywire with Video Games Live, an extravaganza of gaming music performed by the Houston Symphony. Don’t be surprised to find yourself nodding along to the music of Zelda, Super Mario Bros., Halo, Final Fantasy and a host of other games.
