Katt Williams is out to prove big pimpin comes in small packages. Along with his HBO, BET and Comedy Central specials, the comedian also hosted the
Roast of Flavor Flav, where he took a few knocks himself. Fellow comic Patton Oswalt referred to him as a pimp in a thimble and Greg Giraldo cracked, Bein a pimp aint easy especially when you have to stand on phone books to smack a bitch.
But comments like these prove weak against Williams, who continues his crude crusade with his third nationwide trek, the Its Pimpin Pimpin Tour, tackling everything from politics to race to family to show business to, of course, pimpin. Williams does it all with a style akin to Richard Pryor, Chris Rock and Bill Hicks (read: R-rated, yet hilariously socially conscious). Prepare for big laughs from a pint-sized pimp at 8 p.m. Toyota Center, 1510 Polk. For tickets and information, call 866-446-8849 or visit www.livenation.com. $45 to $75.
