Wild Ocean 3D and “Sharks in Depth”

The IMAX film Wild Ocean 3D takes viewers off the coast of South Africa for the unbelievable feeding frenzy that happens when billions of fish migrate up the coast of KwaZulu-Natal. Created by the folks behind STOMP, Wild Ocean 3D shows thousands of sharks, whales, dolphins and others in a wild free-for-all eating contest.

If you’re still in the mood for more sharks after the show, visit the new “Sharks in Depth” exhibit in the Aquarium Pyramid, with life-size replicas, hands-on activities and, of course, a look at some real sharks, too.

Screening times for Wild Ocean 3D are noon, 3 and 6 p.m. daily. Through August 24. $7.95 to $9.95. “Sharks in Depth” is open 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sundays to Fridays, and 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturdays. $9.95 to $15.95. Moody Gardens, One Hope Boulevard.
