Gulf Coast Classic Custom Car and Body Art Festival

''Everyone is welcome at the Gulf Coast Classic [Custom Car and Body Art Festival], from the hobbyist to the purist'' states local entertainer and model Miss V Haven, who's hosting the Pin-Up Girl contest at this year's event. ''What makes Gulf Coast Classic stand out is that it brings folks together from various communities and subcultures to one spot,'' she continues. ''People come out to the event to express their passion for custom cars, bikes, pin-ups, music and tattoos for a weekend of unpretentious fun.''

One of the main attractions is sure to be the body art expo, which features an arena full of local and national tattoo artists ready to ink up fans on the spot. The music will be a diverse offering of rockabilly, classic and alternative rock, and even H-Town rap. Prizes and trophies will be given out in several categories for the best custom trucks, vintage cars and motorcycles. A portion of the entry fees collected from the bike show and rally will be donated to the Wounded Warrior Project, which assists veterans returning home from combat.
