The scenery, the set, the plot, the extraordinary actors and music…The Wizard of Oz is magical. The fantasy film follows Dorothy (a ridiculously talented 17-year-old Judy Garland) as she’s whisked away from her Kansas farm to a magical land populated by witches, wizards and flying monkeys. In search of a way home, she seeks help from a wizard. Today’s screening is presented by Theater Under the Stars in anticipation of the upcoming TUTS stage production of The Wizard of Oz.
