That’s right, Wee and Morse manage to juggle not only those air-bound objects but jokes, too. The duo, presented here by the Society for the Performing Arts, incorporates their comedic chops in their live show, which plays right along with the juggling. Hurling things above your head while remembering to be funny isn’t a feat mastered all that easily, and yet Wee and Morse manage to do so while remaining every bit a class act.
Audiences vacillate from being awestruck to laughing uncontrollably as the two pull off stunts that should hardly be possible mid-stand-up routine. The Passing Zone is a little bit of comedy, a little bit of theater, and a whole lot of impressive as Wee and Morse shatter every expectation you’ve ever had about the world of juggling.
