Here's a Link to the New Kanye Album If You Want to Listen

Well, everyone who had today in the "Kanye Pool," time to collect your winnings. Since it is simply impossible to just wait for an official release date, Kanye West's much-anticipated new album Yeezus has now leaked onto the file-sharing site What.cd about an hour ago, according to Spin.

The thing we really don't understand is, unless there really is an eleventh-hour effort to make sure every last little i is dotted, these high-profile albums are in the can well before their release date. Why don't the labels anticipate this and "leak" it onto iTunes themselves about a week before anyone is expecting them?

That's why we don't work for one, we suppose. Anyhow, here's the Spin story with the Yeezus link if you're interested. Someone let us know if it's the best album since Sly & the Family Stone's Greatest Hits.

Yeezus Christ, we say. Enjoy the weekend, which could include the long-delayed projections of Yeezus' "New Slaves" video, which didn't go so well the first time. The video is now "supposed" to screen tomorrow night at the following locations:

9:30 p.m.: Houston Public Library 10:30 p.m.: TOC Bar 11:30 p.m.: Stereo Live 12:30 a.m.: 407 Main St. 1:30 a.m.: 2401 San Jacinto

Yeezus is still scheduled to be released Tuesday.
