Nas & Ms. Lauryn Hill Playing Bayou Music Center October 31

Rapper Nas and Ms. Lauryn Hill today announced their tandem Life Is Good/Black Rage tour, with an October 31 Houston date inluded. The duo will be at the Bayou Music Center on Halloween Night.

Nas just released a new disc, Life Is Good, this past July and Ms. Lauryn Hill -- as she is now being billed -- has been in a spot of legal trouble as of late.

According to Business Insider, she has failed to pay a $1.8 million tax bill from the federal government, racking up the tab since the late '90s.

Hill was last in Houston on May 4, 2011 at the House of Blues. Her recent live shows have either been hailed as legendary engagements or sad disasters. The "Black Rage" tag on the tour comes from the title of new Hill track.

Depending on the outcome of her federal court case, this could Hill's last tour and visit to Houston for a few years. Check out her dour mugshot here. According to the Huffington Post she is due to be sentenced on November 27.

Meanwhile Nas tours regularly, and has been in Houston with Talib Kweli and Damian Marley, both shows at Warehouse Live in the past few years.
