El Tiempo Cantina owner and executive chef Domenic Laurenzo will launch a year-long fundraiser for Firefighters Helping Firefighters on Sunday, November 1. The restaurant will be donating $1 for every Station 20's 5-alarm Rita sold during the next 12 months. The drink – created by the wife of a firefighter at Station 20, which is across the street from the Navigation location – is crafted with Premium Titanium tequila, pineapple juice, passion fruit and jalapeños. And as always, all police, firefighters, ambulance attendees and military personnel in official uniform or with an official ID are offered 50 percent off the food portion of their meals, a service El Tiempo has provided for more than 56 years. This is one delicious way to support a good cause.
