Wakey bakey! Fluff Bake Bar’s next Saturday Morning Bake Sale will feature PJ and Apple Stoops, the husband-and-wife team behind the former Foreign Correspondents and more recent Sap Sap pop-ups at Ladybird’s. Now in its fifth year, the Taste of Louisiana Festival showcases the diverse blend of ethnic backgrounds that influence the great flavor of Louisiana. In addition to crawfish, gumbo, jambalaya, po-boys and étouffée, festival-goers can expect family-friendly fun, with a Kids Zone, a Chef's Corner offering three cooking demos, a French Market and a Bourbon St. Stage with nonstop music. Tickets are $20 or $10 for kids age four to 12.

IPA and Stout Style Class at Ritual

At this special beer class, Delicious Concepts beverage director Peter Clifton will walk guests through the brewery process, define clear flavor profiles by style and help guests to identify those flavors. The class costs $20 and includes tastings and a special gift from a local brewery.

Peli Deli Pop-Up at Axelrad Beer Garden

1517 Alabama

Peli Deli — the “baby” version of Peli Peli Kitchen that officially starts its nine-month residency in the former Murphy's Deli space at 808 Travis on Monday, March 27 (it's in its soft opening stage now) — is popping up for a first taste at Axelrad Beer Garden. Hang out in the hammocks and sip beer alongside South African-inspired bites.

Bad News 4th Anniversary at Captain Foxheart's Bad News Bar & Spirit Lodge
Sunday, 6 p.m. to 2 a.m.

The fan-favorite Bad News Bar is turning four, and to celebrate, it's throwing down with a party inspired by “the awesomeness of David Lynch's Twin Peaks.” That means, in addition to ridiculous drink specials, guests can expect coffee, pie, doughnuts, logs, owls and a whole lotta fun.
