H-E-B on W. Alabama this morning.
With Hurricane Harvey projected to make landfall near Corpus Christi and potentially dump Tropical Storm Allison levels of water on Houston all weekend and even through next week— we are under a tropical storm warning— folks are stocking up on hurricane basics, such as water, ice and batteries, and nonperishable foods all over town.

The Houston Press has tracked down some stores that still have water and ice. Here's what we've found so far.

Please leave a comment if you know more info about stores in your area and we'll update immediately, and please keep in mind, you might still want to call ahead to these stores.

Friday, August 25, 11 p.m.: H-E-B
has announced that all Houston-area locations and fuel stations will remain open during regular store hours. They're working with suppliers and vendors to ensure that all stores in the potentially affected areas have additional products available to meet increased customer demand, including water, batteries, nonperishable foods, bread, baby formula and ice.

H-E-B Lake Jackson, Bay City, Wharton and El Campo stores have closed early for the safety of their Partners (employees) and will re-open as soon as possible.
