Mind Body Spirit Institute
As a patient or caregiver, or even a family member, we need support in the journey through a cancer diagnosis. Join us for this experiential workshop as we explore the potential benefits of these mind-body practices, which have been taught and researched at MD Anderson Cancer Center, among other clinical and non-clinical settings.
Specifically, participants will be taught practices that engage the mind, breath and the body, supported by simple and powerful ancient Tibetan meditation and breath practices that help clear obstacles and can assist you in connecting more deeply with yourself and others.
Incorporating these practices into your daily life can help you connect to your inner wisdom and the potential to achieve a relaxed yet aware state of mind and a healthier lifestyle. No prior meditation experience is necessary. [Organizer's description]
