Celebrating Songkran Thai New Year 2021

Everyone is invited to join to celebrate Songkran Thai New Year with the Light of Wisdom & A Day of Hope-for-Peace 2021. “Thousands of candles can be lit from a single candle.  Happiness never decrease by being shared.”  -Lord Buddha. Featuring:  The Lighting of 3333 Candles with the offering of 1250 Healing Waters for Body~Mind~Soul   Experience the most authentic Thai food coming from many regions of Thailand with colorful traditional Thai dance costumes. Discover the spiritual path to enlightenment with 3333 candle lights of Wisdom-Hope-Peace-Love. Program Schedules: 3 to 5 p.m.: health fair sponsored by Dr. Thinh Nguyen, Dr Vi Ho and Texas Women’s University with free screening for High Blood, Diabetes, heart diseases, high blood sugars, etc. Vision Screenings by University of Houston School of Optometry, 6 p.m.: traditional Thai music and dance, 7 p.m.: Shaolin KungFu performance, Face Painting & Games for kids, 8:30 p.m.: the Lighting of 3333 Candles of Wisdom Ceremony. Music Entertainment with songs of 60s 70s 80s 90s by VietNam Legends Minh Hieu, Thanh Tuyen, Phuong Hong Ngoc, Son Tuyen, CBC Band and Thai musicians. Sponsor-A-Light $33. Sponsor Healing Water $3.
