A Life Without Stress: Stress seems to be an unavoidable part of our daily life. It doesn’t have to be! In this course, Gen Wangpo will teach us to work with our mind in stressful situations, so we can transform our experiences and eventually attain permanent inner peace. Learn practical methods to recognize, reduce & finally eliminate our stress, which is the underlying force behind so many other problems. Our negative responses to difficult circumstances drain our energy, destroys our relationships, & damages our mental & physical well-being.
We can develop new ways of responding to our daily struggles by applying wisdom practices to our complicated modern lives gaining a stability & confidence that nothing can destroy.
Freedom From Painful Emotions:
Painful emotions such as stress, anxiety, depression and loneliness cause us much unhappiness and stop us from being able to truly enjoy our life. This once–a-month, four-part series will let us investigate these painful feelings and learn the simple techniques employed in Buddhist meditation and mindfulness to let go of negative emotions, past pain and bad habits, and to cultivate positive states of mind. Through applying these instructions to our daily life, we can all learn to live a happier and more fulfilling life.
In each class, we will focus on how to deal with a particular painful emotion, learning practical methods to reduce its hold on us and in this way allowing us to experience a deep and satisfying emotional freedom. As our delusions diminish, we draw closer to the person we wish to be, a joyful, confident and loving person.
