Let’s Go There: A Conversation About Colorectal Cancer

Join Cottonelle® Brand for a candid round table discussion about colorectal cancer, health inequity, prevention, and stigmas within the Black community. Actor and comedian, Deon Cole will lead the discussion with health equity researcher, Dr. Fola May and co-founder and President of BLKHLTH, Matthew McCurdy. Colorectal cancer is the second leading cause of cancer related deaths among Americans, with Black Americans having a 40 percent higher death rate compared to White Americans (Source: Colorectal Cancer Alliance). However, if caught and treated earlier, it has a 90% survival rate (Source: American Cancer Society). [Organizer's description]
