Meditations on Bach

10 new Bach chorales. 10 new works of art by the fabulous artists of Archway Gallery. As we pass the one-year mark of the COVID-19 pandemic hitting the United States, we recognize that mental health continues to be a struggle for many. Whether it is dealing with the grief of losing a loved one, loneliness and isolation while quarantined, or fatigue from the underlying stress and heightened safety measures, it can be helpful to take a moment to pause and to breathe. To that end, the Carya Quartet is releasing a second installment of Meditations on Bach, a series that pairs Bach Chorales with artwork by members of Archway Gallery for a bite-sized moment of peace and reflection. From March 22 to 31, a Meditation will be released daily at noon CDT on YouTube (bit.ly/YouTubeCarya), Facebook (www.facebook.com/caryaquartet), Instagram (@caryaquartet), and caryaquartet.org/bach. This project is offered to the public free of charge and is supported by generous donations from the community. If you would like to support this project, you can make a tax-deductible donation through our fiscal sponsor Fresh Arts at bit.ly/supportcarya. You can also leave a tip at PayPal.me/caryaquartet. The Carya Quartet is a sponsored project of Fresh Arts, a non-profit arts service organization. Contributions in support of the Carya Quartet must be made payable to Fresh Arts and are tax-deductible to the extent permitted by law. Visit bit.ly/supportcarya for more information.
