ROCO Connections: Musical & Literary Ofrenda

When: Sun., Nov. 1, 5 p.m. 2020

ROCO’s Connections series kicks off via livestream on November 1, 2020, with a world premiere commission by Kerwin Young, Coming Forth by Day, for oboe, viola, cello, and baritone. Presented in collaboration with MECA @ TBH and Grupo de Teatra Índigo, the concert is ROCO’s annual celebration of Día de los Muertos. This performance is dedicated to the memory of Mr. Macario Ramirez, of Casa Ramirez Gallery, who has embodied Mexican-American culture in the Houston arts scene. [Organizer's description]
