Bronx Bar (Rice Village)

Bronx Bar may market itself as a mildly upscale nightclub, dress code and all, but it's more of a local hotspot for college kids looking to party than anything else. The door men are allegedly difficult to get past, according to a number of Yelpers, but not enough to keep away the masses. Every weekend, the venue is packed with West University locals and visitors who are more interested in dancing to loud, club music than sitting, talking and knocking back a few. Given its proximity to Ginger Man, Brian O'Neils and Baker Street Pub, it may be the perfect getaway from your normal trip to the Village, without straying far from the beaten path.
