Although Central Texas has been serving barbecue to hungry Pearlanders since 1969, a lot has changed since then - including Pearland's demographics. The 'cue joint is now owned by a Cuban family, meaning that you'll find Cuban dishes such as pork sandwiches and black beans with Spanish rice. The barbecue is as reliable as ever, though, with the Diana plate - two small meats (we recommend the turkey and chopped beef) and two sides with a drink - still a favorite.
