Drunken Monkeyz

Another recent addition to Galveston's Strand, Drunken Monkeyz is a sports bar supported primarily by local Houston Texans fans; the bar also has a LSU Tigers fan base that shows up as well as a fair amount of regulars who support various other NFL football teams. A full bar offers specialty cocktails and beers, including ones from the nearby Galveston Island Brewing on Stewart Road. Golden Tee Live 2015, darts and an Internet Jukebox await patrons' entertainment needs. The owner we spoke with jokingly told us the bar's fun name was inspired by “our own habits.”
