The low-level party rumble at this scruffy, good-times Southwest-side Tex-Mex restaurant more than occasionally gets ramps up as waiters break into song and customers line-dance! Given the pervasive frivolity, Fajita Flats' kitchen employees could get away with sleepwalking through their duties. Instead, they display laudable attention to detail -- the food is not gourmet, but it's certainly more than decent. Fajitas, both chicken and beef, are better than average, and the inch-thick pork chops are vibrantly seasoned.
