George's Pastaria has been in the business of old-school Italian-American food since 1987, and business is good. The Dairy Ashford location is more like a neighborhood joint than a fancy restaurant, but you can still enjoy date night here thanks to the dim lighting and wonderful wine list. Smart diners will go on Mondays through Wednesdays, when wine specials are offered. You can't go wrong with a simple pizza or bowl of lasagna here, although the rigatoni campagnolo is by far the best offering.
