This old-fashioned diner, open 24/7, serves big breakfasts and simple comfort food all day long. After hours, it fills with the sorts of interesting people who come out only after dark. Soups, sandwiches (try the tuna-and-cheese melt), salads and burgers are the mainstays here, along with the namesake pies they have for offer. The friendly and talkative service staff are eager to recommend their favorite pies, and among the most popular are fruit, cream meringue and cheesecake.
