Houston Barbecue Company

After running Luling City Market on Richmond for 16 years, Kurt Craig and Treca Craig set out to serve up the best Hill Country barbecue this side of Austin. At Houston Barbecue Company, all meats spend at least nine hours cooking over nothing but oak. The brisket, homemade links, chicken, ribs and turkey breast are served by the pound, buffet-style, on butcher-block paper.
