There are ten tables at the Lucky Pot noodle shop, and at lunchtime all of them will be full. Come early, late or be patient if you want to sample a huge bowl of hearty, thick-cut, homemade noodles in broth. The lamb noodles, with tender chunks of meat and fresh spinach leaves, are good. But the house special noodle soup -- with big chunks of Chinese bacon, shiitake mushrooms, black mushrooms and dried tofu -- is better. It's a little like fresh, rough-cut pasta in a mushroom-and-bacon sauce.
