Oxheart

Chef Justin Yu joined forces with pastry chef Karen Man to create a restaurant that's wholly Houston except for one notable aspect. Instead of sprawl, the tiny Oxheart seats only 30 people and reservations at the downtown restaurant fill up fast. Yu and Man highlight locally grown produce and meats on the menus, which change from week to week. Two different six-course chef's tastings are available each night and one of them always features vegetables.
