This nondescript shopping-center pizzeria across the street from Katy Mall turns out awesome pizza. Pizza Bella's pie could be called "California-style pizza," which means it's available with such exotica as artichokes, walnuts and spicy Thai peanut sauce. But the phenomenal crust, light and airy with a few yeast bubbles for chewiness, is best enjoyed with as few ingredients as possible. Try the margherita, with fresh tomatoes, basil and just a little garlic-infused olive oil -- that's what pizza is all about.
