Poppa Burger

Jeff Balke
It's hard to find, but worth it once you do — because Poppa Burger is one of the few 1950s-era relics left from the era of drive-in hamburger stands. The prices are retro, too: $5 will get you a generously sized burger, a huge order of onion rings or fries and a large soda. Come at breakfast and you can get a bag full of breakfast tacos for the same price. Don't want burgers? Poppa Burger also does pretty great fried shrimp baskets, too. And the best part of all: It's open 24-7.
