Riva's fills a comfortable middle ground in Montrose, neither scruffy ethnic nor upscale expensive. The middle-of-the-road menu features plenty of rich pastas that go a long way toward soothing a lonely Inner Looper heart, including a good and gloppy lasagna casserole. Steer clear of the shrimp mozzarella, which is a little too close to Olive Garden territory, but check out the Italian pork chops, lightly breaded and seasoned with tarragon.
