This small store has a big advantage over other bakeries in the area: price. Virtually nothing in this brightly colored bakery is over $1. If you think Six Ping only bakes bread, take in the staggering array of vividly hued pastries, sponge cakes, egg puddings and savory tarts. Favorites include the ginger pork bun with a quail egg inside and the crustacean-shaped pastries that are almost too cute to eat.
