Like its big sister location on Richmond Avenue, this relaxing lounge has a variety of nearly 50 specialty martinis to choose from. In addition, the drink menu includes a lengthy list of cocktails and shots with colorful names like “Jonestown Kool-Aid” and “Alien Secretion” made from vodkas, whiskeys, and other spirits from around the world. When we visited the bartender told us they were infusing some pineapple into vodka and bacon into bourbon to create new custom flavors as well. The bar also has an impressive collection of single malt and blended Scotches. A friendly crowd of mature regulars can be found during the afternoon and into the night enjoying generously poured drinks. During the day the bar is filled with natural light from large windows, turning dark and romantic when the sun goes down. The lounge is lined with paintings of celebrities and other subjects from local artists that are up for sale. A spacious back patio is available for smokers. Music is bartender’s choice; blues was played the night we visited.
