This Rosenberg country dance hall, bar and live-music venue makes visitors feel as though they really are way out in the country; across the street is a large tract of farmland. Being outside Houston, smoking is allowed in the main saloon hall upon entrance; patrons can enter the neon-lighted dance hall for a smoke-free environment.
The bar looks like a saloon you would see in an old Western movie, with the addition of a dozen TVs, three pool tables, video games, dartboards and an Internet jukebox. Thursday night a DJ hosts karaoke, while on Friday and Saturday nights bands play live music, usually country with some occasional rock and R&B; Red Barn is closed on Sundays.
