On November 18, local executive chef Stephanie Hoban of Verdine restaurant, and Kevin Barnett of creative lifestyle consulting agency Nett Lifestyle come together to celebrate and pay it forward this thanksgiving. The event dubbed ‘While We’re Living’, the dinner benefits Houston Food Bank, America’s largest food bank in distribution leading hunger relief in 18 southeast Texas counties. The pop-up dinner includes wine pairings, live entertainment and the restaurant exclusively opening for one night to offer off menu dishes at the cost of $80 per person. Only 60 seats are available for this one-time experience. The theme is ‘Everyone Deserves to Eat’ as the organizers are encouraging participants to bring as many can and dry food products as possible to donate to the families of the Houston Food Bank.
