30 Seconds With Brandon Miles of Crunk Witch

Straight out of Maine comes a bizarre electronic duo called Crunk Witch that simply has no fucks to give. Their work is off the charts in terms of genre and any kind of normalcy. They are simply brilliant. I managed to grab a moment of vocalist Brandon Miles' time in order to see what I could learn in 30 seconds.

Rocks Off: What is worst song in the world?

Brandon Miles: Any song featuring Pitbull! Why? Because it features Pitbull!

RO: What is the best lyric in the world?

BM: "I'm a street walking cheetah with a heart full of napalm" from "Search And Destroy" by Iggy & The Stooges.

RO: Someone throws a beer bottle at you onstage. What do you do?

BM: Is it unopened?

RO: Without worrying about space, time, or the laws of physics, what would be the ultimate gig to play?

BM: Playing a show inside the world's most talented girl! She has green men running around with loincloths that want to party!

RO: What would you buy with a million dollars?

BM: A bitchin' houseboat.

RO: What would you buy with your last dollar?

BM: A money managing app.

RO: If you could canonize another musician who would it be and of what would they be the patron saint?

BM: Michael McDonald, the patron saint of silky smooth swag.

RO: What will be written on the plaque beneath the giant statue future generations erect in your honor?

BM: Crunk Witch. They didn't give a fuck!

Crunk Witch plays Dean's on Main, Friday August 31 with The Ne Plus Ultra, Provision, and Vertigo Blue.
