We're pulling for ya, Magic.
Magic, bass player for Luther and the Healers, needs some healing of his own these days. Seems he's laid up in the hospital and should be there for another week or so.
While Magic's condition is serious, it is not life-threatening and with a little time to mend, he should be just fine. Tanya Richardson, Jimmy Hunter and Jerry Jenkins have been taking turns filling in for Magic, whom Luther calls "biggest, baddest bassman in Texas."
This is the first time in the group's 15-year history that they been without Magic and Luther reports that his band buddies miss him onstage. So do his fans.
