All the Katy Perry You're Going to Get, Because She Just Canceled Her Show

Update: Tonight's Katy Perry show at House of Blues has been CANCELED due to Perry's illness, says promoter Live Nation. Perry is expected to announce a make-up date soon, and all tickets for tonight's show, which was itself postponed from March, will be honored. She'll be here eventually, we guess, though Rocks Off is starting to wonder...

One of the few people to make the transition from relative obscurity to legitimate pop stardom in the past 12 months, Katy Perry struck the proper blend of Cali-girl perkiness and preacher's-kid naughtiness to send her album One of the Boys and its sugary singles "I Kissed a Girl," "Ur So Gay," "Hot N Cold" and "Waking Up In Vegas" into the musical stratosphere.

Perry drops in on House of Blues tonight for a sold-out show originally scheduled for March - she won't be appearing at the afterparty, or anywhere else; the Rockets viewing party has been moved upstairs to HOB's Music Hall - so Rocks off thought we'd take a quick spin through Google blogs to bring you up to speed on what she's been doing lately.

She's fond of bringing her own blanket on airplanes.

She may or may not be back with ex-boyfriend and Gym Class Heroes singer Travis McCoy. "The other day I'd sold a million records in the U.S. and I didn't have anyone to tell," she told Cosmo recently. "It was actually a really lonely moment." The heart breaks.

Monday night at Dallas' House of Blues, she covered Queen's "Don't Stop Me Now" and the Outfield's "Your Love."

On a more serious note, Perry had to cancel her homecoming concert in Santa Barbara last Saturday because of the recent wildfires. The show has been rescheduled for August 30.

This is a good one: according to thebosh.com, she once gave UK femme rapper Lady Soverign a peek at her hoo-hah.

Along with Dita von Teese, Yoko Ono, Estelle, Cyndi Lauper and lots more, Perry has collaborated on a new H&M clothing line to raise AIDS awareness. 25% of the sales from the collection, including Perry's "It's What's On the Inside That Counts" T-shirt-dress thingy, go to various youth-related HIV/AIDS charities.

Perry is quite the blogger herself. She digs Tommy Tutone's "Jenny (867-5309)," kittens, cheeseburger dresses and swine flu rings.

Her most recent tweet: "Purple rain is to prince as who's that girl is to madonna as glitter is to mariah. When do I get to make mine?"
