Ask A Rapper: Discussing the Six Worse Rap Collaborations Ever

The hip-hop world is a less than sensible place -- lots of times, you're even required to clarify when bad means bad and when bad means good -- so once a week we're going to get with a rapper and ask them to explain things. Something you always wanted to ask a rapper? Email sheaserrano@gmail.com.

This Week's Rapper: A-N-T

This Week's Prompt: Awful rap collaborations.

Ask A Rapper: Apparently, Kanye and Drake are going to be on Justin Beiber's new album. This isn't terribly surprising; he's booked big name rapper cameos before. The question, though: What do you consider to be the six worst rap collaborations of all time?

A-N-T: The six worst collabos of all-time:

Will Smith, "Gettin' Jiggy Wit It (Remix)," featuring Camron and Big Pun

First off, Will Smith shouldnt be on the same CD as Pun, much less the same track. Plus, they had a totally different beat then the original "Gettin' Jiggy Wit' It"; most remixes have extra verses or alternate verse from the main artist. This one just was wack on top of that. Camron sounds like a nobody. This was way before he found the style we all know him for.

Roy Jones Jr., "Can't Be Touched," featuring Tupac

Do I really have to say anymore? Roy Jones Jr., with his non-rappin' ass, featuring Tupac! Not to mention this title, "Cant Be Touched," from a guy who went from knocking people out to getting knocked out at the end of his carrer.

Shaq, "Can't Stop the Reign," featuring Notorious B.I.G.

I think collabs like this should NOT be okay. You shouldn't be able to do a song with a legend when you're NOBODY in the rap game. Just because he had major bread he made it happen. But can a rich man go pay to play football or baseball along side Peyton Manning or another great? No. I feel like features of this stature should be earned.

Nelly, "Over and Over," featuring Tim McGraw

I understand what these artists were trying to do by bringing two different styles together, but it didnt work for me. This song was just annoying and the radio playing it 100 times a day for three months didnt help.

Bone Thugs-n-Harmony, "Home" featuring Phil Collins

Im a big fan of both of these artist, but this song came out after Bone had been out the picture for a while and I really wasnt feelin it. Wasnt a hard song to come back with and the video made the song even weirder.

Soulja Boy featuring ANYBODY

I'm not a hater. I dont hate on anybody. He's getting money, that's good for him. But he cannot rap.
