Baroness Cancels Upcoming Dates Including FFFF and Houston Stops

This year has been a bittersweet one for metal act Baroness. The long-running Georgia bruisers released one of the best album of 2012 with July's double-album Yellow & Green, and were touring the world behind it.

That was until a bus crash in the UK sidelined all activity and the future of the group. The band has decided to cancel all future dates in 2012 to recuperate and come back healthy as soon as possible.

The band was set to be a big part of November's Fun Fun Fun Fest in Austin, and Houston's Warehouse Live had them down for a November 2 date as well. These and other dates have been scuttled. No rescheduled dates have been announced.

In the meantime, be sure to tell the band on Twitter and Facebook to get well soon, I am sure they would love to hear it. Yellow & Green will no doubt be making more than a few appearances on some 2012 best-of lists come December, including my own.
