Beyonce's Naughty T-Shirt, Devin's Suite 420, Eric B Vs. Nicki Minaj, Rick Astley Chopped And Screwed...

Welcome back to Turning the Screw, Rocks Off's weekly rap post. It probably won't rhyme, at least most of the time. E-mail tips to [email protected]. Thanks, homies.

Single of the Week:

Beyonce had tongues wagging at this weekend's Coachella Festival when she joined husband Jay-Z onstage for "Forever Young" in a T-shirt with the words "punk-ass motherfucker" prominently displayed. Katy Perry, Kate Bosworth and Anne Hathaway didn't seem to mind the profanity.

Devin's new album, Suite 420, is out tomorrow. Get it. Wait - first read this. Then get it. Oh, and interesting aside: The track on there that Mike Dean produced was actually plucked from the annals of history. It was apparently recorded several years ago, and still jams. Devin releases 420 tomorrow night at Warehouse Live; if you can't see the stage through all the smoke, we're pretty sure he'll be up here somewhere.

Not music-related, but still: Here's Dave Chappelle talking about man-rape in Houston.

Ricky Ross lost $300,000 in a lawsuit to DJ Vlad and Ross called the ruling a "success." One time we lost a $20 bill while we were out at Rebel's and our heart near exploded. That fat bastard is getting paid, it appears.

Eric B tried to get a picture with Nicki Minaj at a meet and greet for his daughter. She brushed him off. His response: "Go fuck yourself." Eric B is awesome.

Speaking of, Diddy is apparently managing both Ross and Minaj now. This will either work out really well (See: The beginning of Biggie's career) or really badly (See: The ending of Biggie's career).

How cockstrong is 50? Shyne, recently released from jail, leaked a freestyle where he takes some shots at 50, and 50 posted it on his own Web site. That takes a bit of the sting out of it, huh, Shyne?

The Wall Street Journal listed the Black Eyed Peas as America's "Most Corporate Band." Seems like someone around these parts wrote that exact thing about a month ago, we just can't remember who. We do remember he was devilishly handsome, though.

Z-Ro Going Away Video of the Week

I want to go back to college: The Wire to become a course at several universities.

Jamie Foxx is going to be in an animated film called Welcome to the Jungle. We wish we knew more about Guns N' Roses. There's gotta be a solid joke in there somewhere.

"Fuck A Mixtape" by T.I.

In response to all the drama that surrounded him these past few years, Nas tells reporters "All I want to do is make music and raise my kids. Nothing else matters." Oh yeah? What about breathing, Nas? That matters too.

Blasphemous Chopped and Screwed Video of the Week

Rick Astley, "Never Gonna Give You Up"

This track is begging for Z-Ro to remix it. Absolutely begging for it.
