There’s nothing small or grass-roots about Record Store Day anymore; it’s grown over the years and is now an international celebration of vinyl, music and traditional brick and mortar. Here in Houston we saw celebrations at Cactus Music, Vinal Edge Records, Heights Vinyl, Wax Taps, Sound Exchange, Deep End Records, Sig’s Lagoon, Sound Revolution, Allrecords, Black Dog Records and Sound Waves.

Check out our pix and see what went down on April 22 at Cactus Music in Houston, with Bun B in attendance to meet, greet and celebrate the 25th anniversary of UGK’s first album, Too Hard To Swallow.
