Live Nation has just announced that rapper, singer, The Voice judge and Twitter foot-in-mouth expert Cee-Lo Green has dropped off the remainder of RIhanna's "Loud" tour, including the scheduled July 9 date at Toyota Center.
According to the quite brief press release, the "Fuck You" singer is no longer with the tour due to "unforseen scheduling conflicts." Vague PR language like that could mean anything, but in Green's case it probably means he's having unforseen conflicts scheduling his mouth to stay shut.
Last week Green touched off a controversy after the Loud date at Minneapolis' Target Center, when he replied to Rocks Off sister blog Gimme Noise's less than flattering-review, written by City Pages Music Editor Andrea Swensson, with the above tweet. Later he one-upped himself by tweeting that instead of calling Swensson "gay," he would have hit on her if he knew she was a girl.

Green has since apologized, deleted the tweet and several others pertaining to the review and his comment, and vowed he was quitting Twitter. Rocks Off just checked his page, and all it says is a message that "Something is technically wrong."
We guess you could say that. Green's spot on the tour will be taken by a "local DJ to be announced."
