Glasnost Wants You to Remix Its Songs

Local electro arrivistes Glasnost and piss-taking blog Houston's Most Hated want you to bust out those headphones, fire up the laptop and pick out some choice beats and blips for one of three songs: "Come Alone," "Great Divide" and "Static." The tracks are posted at HMH here, available for download until February 13; submissions should be sent to [email protected]. Entries will be posted on the site as they come in, and finalists will be announced February 13. Voting runs February 13-19, and the winner will be announced February 20.

What might he or she win? Glad you asked. Guaranteed entry into HMH's SXSW party (think Glasnost might be playing?), and the remix on the band's upcoming The Great Divide EP. This contest has a lot of rules - no uncleared samples, only one mix per person, etc., so please do read them. And get mixing!
